As we at Bullseye start to return to some form of normality (albeit not quite the normal we had once been used to) we find ourselves in a reflective mood. The last few months have seen all our lives change in so many ways, whether we have been directly affected by the virus or have had to change our lifestyle to suit the ‘new normal’. But the one theme that has been, and continues to be, constant is ‘thank you’.
Thank you to all those working in healthcare; to the doctors, nurses and paramedics on the front line; to the cleaning, maintenance and ‘back of house’ teams keeping everything safe and running as it should; to the community & social workers ensuring those who need care continue to receive it.
Thank you to those who have kept our shops stocked with food and essentials.
Thank you to the teachers for ensuring our children continue to receive the best education they can in these circumstances.
And thank you to those who have worked to provide meals and essential services to those most in need.
It is impossible to thank everyone who has played their part in keeping this country going, but rest assured your hard work has not gone unnoticed, and we thank each and every one of you.
Lastly, on a more personal note from the Bullseye team, we would like to thank all our customers for your support and trust over this challenging period. We are very aware that, unfortunately, not all businesses have survived the turbulence of the last six months, and our heart goes out to everyone who has lost their job or livelihood as a result of the pandemic. This is why we are even more grateful than ever for the support and business of those we not only call our customers but our friends too.
As we move towards Autumn and the year begins to wind down we at Bullseye are minded to look forwards to a time where we can all see each other again more freely, where we can finally shake hands, rather than tap elbows, with those who have supported us throughout the year and where we can fully travel again and re-connect with our valued customers and contacts overseas. This world may be some time in returning, but if we all keep being safe and sensible we are hopeful that it will be here sooner than we think.
Stay safe everyone.
